Replacing Teeth With Implants

Losing teeth is a worrying problem for everyone as they age. Fortunately, new dental implant technology restores teeth by using titanium materials for new dental implants.

OAK RIDGE, Tenn. —

Essentially 100 percent of all humans will lose a permanent tooth at some point in life. In the early years, decay and growth problems cause tooth loss. In mid life, gum disease takes its toll. Bartender Raises Money For Customer’s New Teeth

A bartender in California set out on a mission to get her friend new teeth, and succeeded in raising $2,000 in a month. The money will go to a man who lost his teeth three years ago and suffers from hydrocephaly.

Strauja raised $2,000 in little over a month.

The goal: provide much needed dental work for Danny Dowd, who suffers from hydrocephaly – a condition characterized by an abnormal increase in the amount of fluid in the cranium that causes enlargement of the head and deterioration of the brain.

Dowd lost his teeth about three years ago, and the hope was that he’d have a new set by Christmas.

“When I started this, it was more like a leap of faith,” said Strauja, a bartender at Romano’s Restaurant. “It really has been about this community coming together. I feel blessed to be living… continue reading
